Early arrivals ease in with quiet play and breakfast. The day starts gently — no rush, just a warm welcome and a familiar face.
Literacy, math, science, and art — rotated through the week. Children move between teacher-led activities and self-directed exploration, choosing from interest areas across the classroom.
Lunch, followed by rest and nap time, honoring each child's own rhythm. Some sleep; some rest quietly with a book. Every child is different, and that's exactly how we treat them.
Outdoor play on our playground, interest-area exploration, and small-group activities. This is where gross motor skills, social negotiation, and pure joy all happen at once.
Snack, wind-down play, and pickup conversations with your child's teacher. You'll hear about the breakthrough, the funny moment, and the thing to watch for tomorrow.
Doors close. Monday through Friday; currently closed Saturday and Sunday. The building gets quiet — until tomorrow morning, when it fills with energy all over again.
A simple, seasonal supplies checklist — change of clothes, labeled bottles or sippy cups for younger children, weather-appropriate outdoor gear — sent to every enrolled family and always available here.
Northern Virginia winters mean occasional snow days. We'll always notify enrolled families directly, and you can check current local conditions on this page before you head out the door.
Currently closed Saturday and Sunday. We follow Fairfax County Public Schools for weather-related delays when possible.
